My Teeth Hurt

The last time I went to the dentist I came out of the office nearly crying. I nearly punched the damned lady right on her nose. I had some cavities filled in but the stupid fillings fell out about two months later. She did a crummy job and I decided to never go back to a damned dentistry.

But now there are about three holes in my molars where those fillings used to be and I'm in a lot of pain. I can't eat the way I used to, I can't even sleep at times because of the pain. I'm thinking of going back but, damn, I can still remember the pain from the first time.

I should probably add that the same lady who worked on my chompers was convicted about two years ago of malpractice; a little boy she was working on died of an overdose of anesthesia. So now not only do I have an aversion for being probed by those drills and suction tubes but also I worry about putting my life in the hands of some dummy who wants to pass off as some professional.

So what the heck would you do in such a case? The pain's just too much! Stupid dentist, why did she have to be a killer. Damn!

Go to a different dentist. But do get this taken care of before you lose all your teeth.

Shoot! I have trouble putting myself to sleep and you think I'm gonna trust some needle-happy dummy with putting me to sleep? I'd rather elbow the dentist who's gonna work on my teef, maybe this way he can knock me out with a punch. The pain is getting bearable but I still can't eat my burgers like I normally do.

I found an awesome dentist! You can't even feel his needles or anything, and he does a great job with the fillings! That's the only dentist I actually could laugh while I was getting worked on. He's great! There's hope!

I can understand that you're nervous as hell about seeing another dentist after hearing about that lady's conviction. just ask your friends about which dentists they use, and if they have positive things to say about them, pick one and see what happens. I trust word of mouth more than anything.
